Communardo Group Hires André Kleine as Vice President of Commercial Operations
New Leadership Position Strengthens the Path to European Growth and Joint Market Development
Communardo Group GmbH is expanding its leadership team: André Kleine will assume the newly created position of Vice President of Commercial effective September 1, 2026. In this role, he will drive group-wide commercial development and further strengthen collaboration among the regional organizations.
André Kleine reports directly to Anje Hickey, CEO of Atlassian Professional Services, and is a member of the Group Steering Committee. He is responsible for the group’s entire commercial engine, which encompasses sales, marketing (including go-to-market), and revenue operations. Marvin Kotlo, Head of Group Marketing, and Christin Wittenbecher, Head of Group Revenue Operations, report to him. In this role, he works closely with the Chief Revenue Officers of the various regions and their teams.

A Unified Market Presence with Regional Expertise
With this approach, André Kleine and his team are creating a framework in which core offerings, sales processes, and marketing activities work in close synergy with the regions’ experience and market knowledge. The goal is to combine the Communardo Group’s strengths even more effectively across national borders without losing local proximity and personalized service for customers.
“Our goal is to become the leading Atlassian partner by delivering outstanding value directly to our customers. Through close collaboration with our regional teams and centrally provided, value-driven offerings, we aim to empower our teams to unlock the full potential of digital collaboration for our customers and take the top position in the ecosystem,” says André Kleine, Vice President of Commercial at the Communardo Group.
For customers, this new direction means even better access to the group’s combined expertise. Solutions and services can be developed more consistently across regions while also being tailored to local requirements. As a result, companies benefit from a wider selection of specialized Atlassian solutions, tailored consulting services, and reliable support for their transformation projects—from cloud migration to the long-term development of the entire Atlassian platform.
More than 25 years of experience in IT and software

André Kleine brings more than 25 years of international experience in the IT and software industries. His focus is on value-driven sales management, strategic marketing, and the development of modern go-to-market structures.
Before joining Communardo, he held leadership positions at COMPAREX and SoftwareOne. At COMPAREX, he was initially responsible for the sales of professional services in Germany before assuming global responsibility for marketing, international go-to-market activities, and sales enablement. Subsequently, at SoftwareOne, he helped shape the global sales strategy and the transition toward future-oriented solution and SaaS models. Most recently, as Chief Revenue Officer in a scale-up environment, he was responsible for the overarching commercial strategy.
“With André Kleine, the Communardo Group is gaining an experienced international commercial leader who combines strategic vision with a strong focus on execution. His experience will help us sharpen our European profile, support our regions even better, and offer our customers greater long-term value,” says Anje Hickey, CEO of Atlassian Professional Services.
