Three good reasons for structured knowledge management with Confluence Cloud
Why Communardo is the right partner for your knowledge management

As a long-standing Atlassian Solution Partner, Communardo provides comprehensive support to companies looking to digitise their knowledge processes.
With our combination of technical expertise, tried-and-tested extensions and sound change management, we ensure that your Confluence-based solution is not only implemented but also used sustainably. Our approach is based on real-world workflows, is scalable to suit companies of various sizes and integrates seamlessly into existing IT landscapes.
What sets us apart: We support you throughout the entire knowledge management cycle – from strategy and implementation to ongoing development through reviews and optimisation. This results in a solution that evolves with your business and delivers real added value.
Exploration Workshop
If you already practise knowledge management within your organisation, we recommend our Exploration Workshop before the project begins. During this workshop, we will work with you to adapt our standardised solution to your existing processes and structures.
We were familiar with the project status at all times, as we were heavily involved ourselves and were also in constant contact with the technical project manager, who in our view did an excellent job with a high level of commitment.
Making knowledge visible, clearly documenting processes Avoid repetition

Knowledge is a key factor for success – yet it often goes untapped. Outdated content, unclear responsibilities or scattered documentation mean that valuable organisational knowledge remains hidden in many organisations. The result: duplication of effort, incomplete induction processes and a lack of information on which to base decisions.
Our knowledge management solution using Confluence Cloud provides the answer. With a structured knowledge database based on Atlassian’s Confluence, you can capture, maintain and share expertise across the organisation – securely, sustainably and across teams.

The Communardo approach
Project start
Kick-off meeting: In a structured workshop, we analyse your existing knowledge landscape, clarify goals, stakeholders and requirements. Together, we develop a vision for your future solution - tailored to your strategy, user groups and existing systems.
Provision
After the project planning, we start directly with the implementation. We define clear project phases, responsibilities and success criteria. This forms the basis for a roadmap that takes into account technical implementation, content structure and user empowerment. This enables rapid utilisation of the finished solution.
Pilot phase
We configure your Confluence Cloud environment and add relevant apps and functions. In a pilot phase, selected user groups test the solution in everyday use. The feedback is documented and used for the final rollout.
Roll-out
The pilot phase is followed by the roll-out and the associated hypercare phase. The solution will be rolled out successively throughout the company - accompanied by training, communication measures and internal multiplier work. The aim is broad, secure and active use from day 1.
Operation
Once the project has been completed and handed over, the solution goes into active operation. Even after the project, we do not leave you alone. In structured review meetings (e.g. after 6 and 12 months), we check together how the solution is working in everyday life, where there is potential and how utilisation and quality can be further improved.
FAQ
Our solution is designed for organisations that want to make their knowledge accessible in a structured way, across teams and for the long term – regardless of industry or department. It doesn’t matter whether you are implementing Confluence from scratch, already have an instance, or are currently using different software for knowledge management.
Yes. We offer a range of starter packages – from a basic introduction to Confluence through to advanced integration with existing Atlassian environments, including Jira or Service Management.
We don’t simply deliver an empty wiki, but a well-thought-out solution complete with processes, templates, responsibilities and methods for knowledge management. Apps such as Metadata, Better Content Archiving or Workflows (Comala, Appfox) ensure professional standards and long-term usability, which we support over the long term through review workshops
Thanks to documented responsibilities (e.g. via metadata or page owners), status indicators (e.g. ‘Draft’, ‘Reviewed’, ‘Outdated’) and automated review and archiving processes, your knowledge remains up to date and relevant – maximum benefit with minimum effort.
With our integrated change management approach, we focus on internal communication, training and engagement from an early stage. Champions and key users are empowered to actively help shape and promote the solution.
Our solution lays the structural foundations for the use of AI – for example, in intelligent search via Rovo or automated content linking. In doing so, we ensure AI readiness through well-maintained, context-rich data and structured content.
Yes. We provide advice on migration and assist with transferring relevant content from wikis, file systems or other tools to the new platform – including a structure and metadata strategy.
Confluence is a collaboration platform from Atlassian that has been specifically designed for the structured creation, management and sharing of content. In the context of knowledge management, Confluence provides the ideal framework for documenting information in a way that is accessible across departments, version-controlled and traceable. Thanks to templates, permission settings, a commenting function and integration with other tools such as Jira, Confluence is particularly powerful for organisations that wish not only to store knowledge, but also to actively use and develop it further.
