Communardo Group strengthens its senior management team
Anje Hickey is to become CEO of Atlassian Professional Services in Europe
The Communardo Group is reorganising its senior management team, thereby strengthening its focus on its growing Atlassian business in Europe. With effect from 1 January, Anje Hickey will take on the role of CEO for the Atlassian Professional Services business in Europe. With this strategic appointment, Communardo is further expanding the clearly defined areas of responsibility within the group and setting the course for further cross-regional growth, as well as the consistent development of its service portfolio within the Atlassian ecosystem.
As founder and Group CEO, Dirk Röhrborn will in future focus entirely on the strategic direction of the entire group. The focus will be on expanding the international business, tapping into new markets and business areas, and sustainably scaling the three core business areas: Atlassian Professional Services, Products and Microsoft Services.

Anje Hickey: Leadership for the next phase of growth
Anje Hickey brings more than 25 years’ experience in IT services and software, both in Germany and abroad. As a member of the executive board at Microsoft Germany, she was responsible for managing numerous enterprise clients and leading large sales and service organisations in an innovation-driven environment. Most recently, as CEO of Fellowmind Germany, she led the integration and transformation of an IT services provider focused on SME clients. In this role, she played a key part in the digitalisation of business models, the implementation of complex post-merger integrations and the establishment of agile structures.
Her expertise lies in managing international service units, developing customer-focused portfolios and supporting companies through growth and digital transformation.
Building on this foundation, Anje Hickey will work alongside the current management team – comprising the Co-CEOs for DACH, Claudia Lutter and Tino Beyer, as well as Mathias Carling, CEO of Communardo Nordics – to drive the further development of Communardo’s Atlassian Professional Services business in Europe. The plan is to further expand the range of consultancy and solutions offered to clients, strengthen partnerships within the Atlassian ecosystem and establish new services for the Atlassian Cloud. A particular focus is on supporting companies in designing modern, scalable working environments and guiding them on their journey to the cloud, as well as in the transformation of their digital collaboration.
This is intended to sustainably consolidate and further expand Communardo’s position as a leading Atlassian partner in Europe.
