Communardo Group Strengthens Executive Leadership

Anje Hickey Appointed CEO for Atlassian Professional Services in Europe

Dresden, 11. December 2025

The Communardo Group is reshaping its leadership structure to sharpen its focus on the rapidly growing Atlassian business in Europe. Effective January 1st, Anje Hickey will take on the role of CEO for Atlassian Professional Services in Europe. This strategic appointment further clarifies responsibilities within the group and sets the stage for continued cross-regional growth and the ongoing expansion of its service portfolio within the Atlassian ecosystem.

As Founder and Group CEO, Dirk Röhrborn will concentrate fully on the strategic direction of the entire organization. His priorities include expanding international operations, entering new markets and business segments, and scaling the group’s three core areas: Atlassian Professional Services, Products, and Microsoft Services.

“With Anje Hickey, we are gaining an experienced and inspiring leader who will play a central role in advancing our vision for Atlassian Professional Services in Europe.”
— Dirk Röhrborn, Group CEO

Anje Hickey: Leadership for the Next Growth Phase

Anje Hickey brings more than 25 years of experience in IT services and software across both domestic and international markets. As a member of the executive leadership team at Microsoft Germany, she managed numerous enterprise accounts and led large sales and service organizations in an innovation-driven environment. Most recently, as CEO of Fellowmind Germany, she oversaw the integration and transformation of an IT services provider focused on mid-market clients—driving business model digitization, executing complex post-merger integrations, and building agile organizational structures.

Her expertise spans managing international service units, developing customer-centric portfolios, and guiding companies through growth and digital transformation.

Building on this foundation, Anje Hickey will work closely with the current management team—Co-CEOs for DACH, Claudia Lutter and Tino Beyer, and Mathias Carling, CEO of Communardo Nordics—to accelerate the evolution of Communardo’s Atlassian Professional Services business in Europe. Plans include expanding consulting and solution offerings for clients, deepening partnerships within the Atlassian ecosystem, and introducing new services for Atlassian Cloud. A key focus will be helping organizations design modern, scalable work environments and supporting their journey to the cloud and transformation of digital collaboration.

This move aims to solidify and further strengthen Communardo’s position as a leading Atlassian partner in Europe.

“My goal is to work with the management team to advance Communardo Professional Services as Europe’s leading Atlassian partner—with innovation, strong customer focus, and a modern culture. I’m excited about the collaboration and the next phase of growth.”
— Anje Hickey, CEO Atlassian Professional Services Europe

Known for her authentic leadership style and strong commitment to talent development, Hickey will not only ensure operational excellence but also foster Communardo’s culture of collaboration, openness, and innovation at the European level—with a clear focus on sustainable business success.

“Anje Hickey is the perfect addition to the Communardo management team: With her extensive experience in successfully leading international service organizations, she brings the professionalism and execution strength needed to further expand Communardo’s Atlassian business in Europe and drive the group’s continued growth. We are very much looking forward to working with her.”
