Embed Confluence Cloud pages in SharePoint Online web parts or pages
As some of your teams prefer working in Confluence cloud while others are heavily relying on SharePoint, this situation often results in the creation of information silos. The SharePoint Connector for Confluence Cloud is breaking these down by not only integrating SharePoint documents in Confluence but now also by embedding Confluence Cloud pages in SharePoint Online.
It just takes a couple of clicks: Find your Confluence page, copy the embed script, and paste it into our apps SharePoint web part.
With this bidirectional integration, the content is always up to date. We’re currently supporting the embedding of Confluence pages. Other Confluence content types may follow further down the road. Also, the support for 3rd party macros is currently limited and we’re exploring ways to broaden that.
We’d love to hear from you what of those improvements would add the most value to your business. Since this a long-awaited release, we are curious about your feedback.
Save time by using your Microsoft 365 account for signing in
The integration app now supports the login via Microsoft account into Atlassians Confluence Cloud. If you use the same login account for Confluence Cloud and SharePoint Online you will be logged in automatically by our app.
This allows you a seamless experience working with the app and your company’s SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, or Microsoft Teams content and documents. And it saves you time on top!
Improved app security by MSAL 2
Furthermore, we upgraded to MSAL 2 to improve the security of our app. The main advantage of MSAL 2 is far better security by handling tokens by using the OAuth 2.0 Authorization Code Flow with PKCE.
So, all in all, we have prepared a huge package of new features for you. We would love to receive your user feedback concerning this release!
