Display parent pages for attachments
For Confluence attachments (i.e. files that are attached to a page) the title of the search result is linked to the Url of the attachment itself. Although this is the correct link for the search result (i.e the attachment) itself you maybe want to additionally display a link to the parent page (i.e. the page where the file is attached to) in the search result, too. With the new release 1.9 this is possible now:
Compatibility with SharePoint 2016
With this release, you may finally display Confluence content right from your SharePoint Search – in SharePoint 2016.
For the installation and configuration in SharePoint 2016 please refer to the installation manual: Installing and Configuring the SharePoint Solution (v 1.9) > SharePoint Server 2013/2016 (v 1.9)
Besides those two features, we fixed a couple of bugs. Please refer to our public Jira list for a complete overview of resolved issues.
