Company Chat App Integration
For Microsoft the collaborative hub Microsoft Teams is the great and powerful future. That is why we have developed a more flexible integration option of a company chat app in our Confluence app User Profiles for Confluence. In the administration’s menu the administrator can now decide if the company wants to integrate Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business or no chat app. With only one click the administrator can activate the integration. Nothing else needs to be configured!
By activating the Company Chat App Integration users can start a personal chat with a colleague directly from the user’s profile. By clicking the button Microsoft Teams opens and starts a chat with the person. If you have a question on a topic in your Confluence you can ask the page creator very quickly via direct chatting!
Read-Only Mode for Confluence Data Center
As an administrator of a Confluence Data Center instance you can use the read-only mode very well, especially when planning a migration or upgrade on a separate instance. Now the read-only mode is also available on our User Profiles for Confluence app.
On the one hand, the login synchronization and the scheduled synchronization are suppressed. On the other hand, the admin no longer has to worry about users changing their profile data during the active read-only mode, because this is no longer possible for them. If the read-only mode is enabled only the administrator can edit user information. But the user can still access all profile data, whether in the people directory or in macros on pages.
