We are happy to announce two great improvements for SharePoint Online Connector, which were highly requested by our customers.
Upload files to SharePoint directly from Confluence
With our SharePoint List macro in Confluence, you can embed whole SharePoint Document libraries from SharePoint on your Confluence page. Until now, you were able to browse, to access and to download your SharePoint project or team documents right from Confluence. In our new release 1.6, we implemented an upload feature so you can add new files to SharePoint from your Explorer via a Button.
Support for SharePoint Server 2019
In addition to our Support for SharePoint Server 2016 and SharePoint Online, you can now use our Connector with SharePoint Server 2019.
What’s next?
We are working on the possibility to make our SharePoint List macro work with custom SharePoint list views. SharePoint views give you the flexibility to show additional metadata on documents or custom list elements. As of today our list macro only shows the following metadata columns: Name, Modified Date and Modified by.
Furthermore we are evaluating support for Confluence Cloud.
