For the past months, we’ve been working very closely with our Communardo Metadata for Confluence app users, getting feedback to understand what features we need to improve or further develop.
Assign Content Category and Metadata to existing pages – How does it work?
This newest feature allows you assign a Content Category to an existing wiki page. You will find assign Content Category item displayed to the user from the action menu.
Once you clicked on it, the open dialogue will allow you to choose from the existing Categories. Don’t forget to provide the Metadata values. Easy right?
Check out our documentation page for further details.
Who can benefit from this feature?
- New customers who have a lot of documentation pages and want to add consistency and structure to the existing pages
- Users who create documentation pages and skip or forget the step to add a Content Category
What was special about this release?
You were directly involved in its making! Initially, we brought two different versions to the table and created the prototypes for each of them. We invited multiple customers to user test sessions, to understand which solution addressed the right needs. If you’re interested in joining one of these sessions for the coming features, don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
What’s next?
- New field type: Link field
