Wikis are great! They bundle knowledge from you and all of your colleagues in one easily accessible place, simplifying your daily work. But sometimes documenting your work daily can be inefficient. What if you could keep on adding important and helpful information to your wiki and be quick and efficient about it?
Unleash the potential of your metadata
Adding metadata to wiki pages helps you to structure the important content. You can also take advantage of the macros to create an easily understandable and complete overview of pages using a specific metadata set, for example. Thus the complexity of an ever-growing wiki can be better managed!
What’s new with Metadata for Confluence 3.3.0
What’s new with the latest update of this app? We’re very happy to announce that we’ve implemented the most requested feature for this app: raise the curtain for the default value option.
Administrators can now set and edit default values for all their metadata sets. But wait – there’s more! Metadata 3.3.0 also introduces variables in default data. If you choose to set a variable for the creating user of a page or the date when a page was created, that data will automatically be filled out once metadata gets attached to a page. This saves you valuable time!
