From German winter to sunny Spain
I had the pleasure to attend this year´s #DeiserDay in Madrid in November. Living in the very south of Germany, in the so-called Black Forest, where it had already snowed, I was very excited to catch some of Spain’s sun. Madrid did not disappoint me!
From cold Hinterzarten, Germany…

…to sunny Madrid, Spain.

Arriving the day before Deiser Enterprise Day, I’ve spent the night meeting the awesome Deiser team and the other participants from Atlassian Solution Partners from across Europe. The Spanish hospitality was overwhelming and Deiser’s CEO, Guillermo Montoya made sure, we got the finest dishes Madrid could possibly offer.

Let the Deiser Enterprise Day begin
The #DeiserDay took place in a huge venue called Teatro Goya. Setting up our booth an preparing for a short Lightning Talk, I checked out the stage, which was frightening huge.

Kicking off #DeiserDay, Guillermo Montoya did an awesome Keynote, telling the story of Deiser and their friends and partners. Even though I don’t speak Spanish, I was able to catch Guillermo’s enthusiasm for Atlassian and the Atlassian Ecosystem. It made me feel very good being a part of this as well.

After Guillermo’s great keynote, it was time for the first round of App-Vendors Lightning Talks.
I had the chance to talk about our latest App, the SharePoint Online Connector. After a quick poll at the beginning, I was happy to see that almost 90% of all attendees are using Confluence and at least 75% of them are using Microsoft SharePoint as well. As our Communardo team is using both systems as well, I was able to tell a real story about how our teams benefit a lot from integrating these two tools and using the best bit each tool has to offer.
During the rest of the day, I was very happy to talk to several Deiser customers interested in using Communardo´s SharePoint Online Connector as well. It was a very valuable exchange with great customers.

I want to thank Team Deiser for the opportunity of presenting our apps to your customers and for a truly awesome Deiser Enterprise Day 2017!
